When you choose one of the standard styles offered by RoofScreen, we provide a complete package including the following:
• Panel and trim count
• Panel and trim dimensions and lengths
• Trim design
• Attachment details
• Panel and trim layout and installation guide
• Engineering and AutoCAD shop drawings |

Standard Panels |
7.2 Rib
This is one of our most common panels. The 1.5" deep profile makes the panel very strong. It is also one of our least expensive panels making it the best choice for cost to strength ratio. |
 |
 |
• Material: 26ga, 24ga, 22ga steel
• Finish: Factory applied Kynar or Siliconized Polyester paint
• Colors: Choose from standard color chart. Choices vary with gauge and finish
• Installation: Vertical or horizontal
|
3" Deep Rib
This panel is the best choice for horizontal applications with high wind pressures. The 3" deep profile gives it a greater spanning capability than any other panel. |
 |
 |
• Material: 26ga, 24ga, 22ga steel
• Finish: Factory applied Kynar or Siliconized Polyester paint
• Colors: Choose from standard color chart. Choices vary with gauge and finish
• Installation: Vertical or horizontal
|
R Panel
This inexpensive panel is an excellent choice for vertical applications when cost is a factor. Because of the shallow profile, it is not capable of spanning long distances. |

• Finish: Factory applied Kynar or Siliconized Polyester paint
• Colors: Choose from standard color chart. Choices vary with gauge and finish

U Panel
This inexpensive panel is an excellent choice for vertical applications when cost is a factor. Because of the shallow profile, it is not capable of spanning long distances |

Corrugated Panel
This inexpensive panel is an excellent choice for vertical applications when cost is a factor. Because of the shallow profile, it is not capable of spanning long distances. |
 |
 |
• Material: 26ga, 24ga, 22ga steel
• Finish: Factory applied Kynar or Siliconized Polyester paint
• Colors: Choose from standard color chart. Choices vary with gauge and finish
• Installation: Vertical or horizontal

Flush Panel
For a high quality look with minimal shadow lines, the flush panel is an excellent choice. The finish is smooth and the panels lock together with the fasteners concealed in the laps.
“Oil canning,” a slight rippling effect due to expansion and contraction, is an inherent property of flat metal products, and is not a cause for rejection. Non ribbed style panels are particularly vulnerable to oil canning. More Details |

• Material: 26ga, 24ga, 22ga steel
• Finish: Factory applied Kynar or Siliconized Polyester paint
• Colors: Choose from standard color chart. Choices vary with gauge and finish
• Installation: Designed primarily for vertical applications. If used horizontally, the panels will not lap end to end, so special backing plates and trim covers must be used.
Due to the potential for oil canning, this panel is not recommended for screens taller than 5 or 6 feet.

Flush Textured
Textured panels provide a much softer look that blends well with stucco or concrete buildings. This is a locking panel with concealed fasteners and it can be installed with reveals on all 4 sides of the panel if desired.
“Oil canning,” a slight rippling effect due to expansion and contraction, is an inherent property of flat metal products, and is not a cause for rejection. Non ribbed style panels are particularly vulnerable to oil canning. More Details |

 |
• Material: 20ga steel
• Finish: Factory applied textured paint
• Colors: Custom match any color
• Installation: Vertical or horizontal. Special backing plates used to create reveals
This panel has the potential for oil canning, however, the 20ga thickness and the fact that the panel is flanged on all 4 sides greatly reduces the potential.

Foam Core
The foam core panel is foam insulation sandwiched between 2 layers of metal. It provides a large flat panel that has excellent spanning capabilities and it won't oil can. |
 |
 |
• Material: 26ga or 24ga steel
• Finish: Factory applied Kynar Stucco Embossed or Sprayed Texture
• Colors: Choose from standard colors.
• Installation: Designed primarily for vertical applications. If used horizontally, the panels will not lap end to end, so special backing plates and trim covers must be used.
|
Louvered
Several types of louvers are available. Louvers are typically the most expensive option for facing a RoofScreen. However, a louvered system can provide a dramatic architectural look as, well as allow plenty of air flow when the screen is close to the HVAC equipment.
• Material: Painted steel or extruded aluminum
• Finish: Varies by type.
• Colors: Varies by type.
• Installation: Continuous slat, or prefabricated panels |

Standard Trims |
When panels and trim are provided by RoofScreen, the following trim types are offered as our standards. We can also customize the trims to meet specific requirements and styles. |
Outside Corner
We usually recommend using the 5" Outside Corner Trim because the extra coverage is more forgiving when the panels don't extend all the way to the corner. For a sleeker look, the 3" trim will work as long as the panels are cut tight to the corner. |
 |
 |

|
|
Inside Corner
These are similar to the outside corners except the hems are turned outward and the finish is on the opposite side. |

Box Trim Cap
Sizes vary based on the type and orientation of the panel. |
 |

|
Stepped Trim Cap
Sizes vary based on the type and orientation of the panel. |

Use Another Manufacturer’s Panels |
It is not necessary to use panels provided by RoofScreen. Any type of panel material can be designed into the RoofScreen System provided that it has the structural capacity to span between supports adequately. A good example of this is when the RoofScreen needs to match the material used for the metal roofing or some type of veneer siding on the building.
If some other type of paneling is desired, please consult with RoofScreen before specifying it in the project so we can check the feasibility based on the wind load requirements. Please note that when the panels are not provided by RoofScreen, we do not provide any design details for the panels or trims, and the engineering package provided will only state that the panels used must be able to withstand the specified wind pressure. However, for an extra design and engineering fee, we will provide the details and AutoCAD for third party materials.
